Our Projects
We continue to work on a large National Cancer Institute grant to fund three evaluation projects, each focusing on using technology to help cancer patients and their family caregivers reduce suffering from cancer. These projects involve the Comprehensive Health Enhancement Support System (CHESS), an internet-based program of support and information that has well-documented positive effects for cancer patients.
We are also working on three projects with the Safe Community Coalition of Madison. One is an evaluation of a project to encourage seat belt use among middle school children, another is to increase yielding to pedestrians in crosswalks, and the third is to reduce motorcycle drinking and driving.
